I'm a Boston-based health journalist with over 15 years of experience in media. I've held staff positions at LIVESTRONG.com, Health.com, Prevention, and The Huffington Post. I've worked with a range of freelance clients, including the New York Times, TIME Health, SELF, Men's Health, Runner's World, Business Insider, Peloton, Everyday Health, Exos, Stride, and Felix Creative. I'm a graduate of the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University, and a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer. I'm a SXSW 2022 panel moderator, and I completed the National Press Foundation 2020 Vaccine Boot Camp and the 2019 Mayo Clinic Journalist Residency.
I strive to deliver trusted, relatable, accessible health information to readers of all backgrounds. I believe discrimination of any kind is a public health issue, and I am committed to working toward equity for excluded and marginalized groups through inclusive health information and representation.
I'm currently open to new opportunities, including in writing, editing, SEO, content strategy, project management, fact-checking, communications, health literacy, and more. I look forward to working together!
